Calling all experienced HR professional who enjoy being close to the action — building leadership capability, partnering with leaders, working through complex people matters and contributing to a workplace where teams feel well supported. We’re looking for someone practical, approachable and confident who can step into a 12-month HR Business Partner role and make a meaningful contribution across Intereach.

About the Role

As HR Business Partner, you will work as a trusted advisor to leaders across Intereach, providing high-quality HR advice, coaching and practical people solutions across the employee lifecycle. You will support workforce planning, employee and industrial relations, change management, employee engagement, culture initiatives and leadership capability, while helping to ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, awards, policies and procedures.

This role will suit someone who can work with a high degree of independence, build strong stakeholder relationships and provide sound, practical advice in a fast-paced and values-led environment.

In this hands-on role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the employee lifecycle, making a real impact on our growing organisation. Key Responsibilities:


  • Supporting a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring they feel welcome and supported from day one.
  • Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, team development, and performance management.
  • Assist with performance reviews and provide valuable input to support employee growth.
  • Assisting with rewards, remuneration processes, and enterprise agreement interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate employment records and ensure compliance with HR policies.
  • Support recruitment activities when needed.
  • Coordinate housing arrangements for international workers.
  • Assist with ad-hoc HR projects.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in HR coordination or a generalist HR role, with a desire to expand your HR expertise.
  • Industry experience in Construction or Manufacturing is a plus, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management abilities - along with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • A relevant qualification, such as a university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using a HRIS is highly desirable.
