Renaissance Global are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our growing UK HR team based out of our Swindon Office.

SKILLS & EDUCATION REQUIRED:

We are looking for a proactive HR Advisor who is passionate about all aspects of the employee life cycle/ journey and can work within a standalone environment from our Swindon Office, whilst working collaboratively with our HRBP’s and Shared HR Operation team located within the UK to deliver a world class HR service.

As a HR Advisor you will have or be:

  • An established and confident HR Advisor with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Advisor or similar level position preferably in a matrix environment in a global company (E)
  • CIPD qualified, with up-to-date knowledge of HR principles and policies, and excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice with experience of working on a variety of ER case types (E)
  • Confident in your ability and can challenge where required you will have extensive experience advising and coaching managers on policies and procedures, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. (E)
  • Adaptable and receptive to change, you will be able to work in a reactive capacity with ER cases but keep the bigger picture in mind (E)
  • High attention to detail with ability to carry through processes, work with documents, employee records, forms, contracts, and compliance with experience in analysing data and producing calculations within the HR function (E)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels and have an empathetic approach to garner trust. (E)
  • Experience in working in a collaborative team with the ability to adapt messaging based on audience with a demonstrated practical approach to problem solving, with experience of gathering and presenting data (E)
  • Proficient in HRIS software systems such as UKG (D)

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

As a HR Advisor you will play an integral part of the HR Team, together with the HR Business Partners and the HR Operations team.
Our HR Advisor will be the go-to resource for all employee questions, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, employee relations, and performance management.
As a HR Advisor you will, facilitate a cohesive HR service delivery experience for Renaissance employees and managers across the UK.

What you will do day to day as a HR Advisor at Renaissance,

  • Act as a key operational advisor for the business and HR Business Partners providing guidance to employee and manager questions related to policies, HR practices, and in coordination with HR Operations
  • End to end case management, with complex cases being escalated and supported by HRBP’s where necessary, taking ownership of disciplinary and grievance procedure investigations and recommendations for resolution.
  • Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on HR policies and procedures, including but not limited to probations, family leave, absence management, and flexible working practices.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and development including agreeing and monitoring performance improvement plans.
  • Lead on queries escalated via online HR Help and respond to queries with support from the relevant Business Partner
  • Support the HR Coordinator with onboarding and employee lifecycle processes, including company inductions and exit interviews, and provide qualitative data for turnover reporting.
  • Support the HR Operations Team and HRBP’S on All HR Projects and assist with the implementation of HR initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Support HR initiatives, such as policy updates and system implementations, and typical HR cycle such as performance reviews and talent reviews.
  • Identify trends in employee questions, concerns, and complaints and escalate to appropriate stakeholders to develop proactive solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the People Assist knowledge library by working with HR Operations to understand question trends, needs for clarity, and anticipating upcoming topics.
  • Provide assistance with administrative tasks during busy periods. While working closely with the HR Coordinator to deliver accurate HR metrics.
  • Review and analyse absence trends and report to the relevant HR Business Partners for action according to our absence management policy.
  • Analyse and report on exit interview feedback to the HR Business Partners identifying trends and collaborate to provide feedback and create action plans as required.
  • Provide support in maintaining the accuracy of HR data in all relevant systems, together with the HR Coordinator and wider US HR team.
