Responsibilities:
THE ROLE OBJECTIVE
The People Advisor is responsible for partnering with the business to support line managers in motivating
and engaging the workforce, treating people as individuals and ensuring fair access to opportunities.
You will have a wide-ranging brief to maintain and develop effective working relationships across
the organisation, creating a trust-based culture that drives long-term performance.
A key part of the role is being able to lead a small team of 1-3 People Coordinators handle a fast moving, constantly changing environment with a smile! This role is central to maintaining a cohesive and positive working environment within the HR team, so being hands on and ready to help with whatever comes up is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- General day to day queries and escalation point of contact for all employee queries - management of the
team shared inbox (prioritising tasks for payroll and HR - sorting in addition to dealing with queries such as reference requests / PO’s etc.)
- Ability to lead a small team of People Coordinators for your respective business area.
- Responsible resource planning amongst your team to ensure business-as-usual and projects are completed at a high level and on time.
- Checking contracts of employment and new starter packs, ensuring roles are fully authorised and
necessary details are completed; ensuring correct accompanying forms and documents are enclosed
and returned.
- ER advice to managers and action performance improvement plans, and low level disciplinaries and
grievances
- Input/ check the monthly payroll
- Responsible for all HR administration for your respective business area.
- Workday upkeep and cleansed data – to ensure all payroll amendments are tracked in Workday
accurately and in real time.
- Lead visas, mobility and immigration processes with advice from Mobility
Partner/WPP/Vialto
- Keep up to date on all Employment Legislation and update policies and procedures with
any changes
- Managers guidelines creation and updates
- Family pay and process conversations with employees
- Lead audit, SOX and GDPR compliance
- IR35 & Yuno Juno
- Exit interviews, and feed in BP/Head of for discussions with stakeholders - follow up with
GreatwithTalent surveys
- Action and compliance around Audit, Sox and GDPR
- Good understanding of all HR policies, processes and systems
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE (DEPENDING ON CAPABILITY AND CAREER):
- In conjunction with the HRBP, manage the GroupM maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and adoption leave process, ensuring this is compliant with relevant company policies and legislation. Responsible for the preparation of required monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for GroupM and WPP including ad hoc reports as required for various stakeholders within the Company.
- Maintenance and updating of HR related systems.
- Contribution to the generation of ideas and assist the wider HR team and Head of HR in the delivery
of HR projects and initiatives across the Company.
