Here at Americold Lurgan we are now recruiting for a HR Advisor Ireland.
In today’s dynamic business environment, effective management of employment relationships is essential. We are seeking an HR Advisor to support managers in our Lurgan, Monaghan and Dublin sites with specialist advice on legislative, procedural, and policy matters, ensuring compliance and a positive workplace culture. We deliver best practices in the business’s interest and lead HR projects that align with and advance the company’s strategic goals.
As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the management and development of our workforce. Your primary responsibilities will include the following:
- Provide professional advice and support managers in all areas of employment relations including, but not limited to, investigations, grievance, disciplinary, capability flexible working and attendance management issues across the Island of Ireland.
- Support the organisation through periods of change assisting in managing transition e.g. TUPE, Restructuring, Talent Management and Succession Planning.
- Assist with end-to-end employee life cycle processes.
- Produce weekly and monthly departmental KPIs, indicating turnover and short-term and long-term sickness/absence, you will deliver HR-related KPIs to the Senior Leadership Team and make recommendations based on findings.
- Own company people policies and recommend changes/updates in line with changing legislation. You will attend industry training and employment law updates and cascade learnings to the wider team.
- Support managers by implementing Performance Management Systems, provide feedback and assist in creating development plans for employees.
- Collaborate on initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness, culture and employee engagement.
- Assist with HR projects and support other departmental projects as required.
- Develop learning material and deliver practical training sessions to the business in line with the relevant legislation and development needs.
