Description:
Legacy Strategies are looking for a HR Advisor on behalf of our client in the Education sector. This is an opportunity to join a team in HR Advisory for schools and academies on various HR matters. This role is reporting directly to the HR Manager and has a hybrid working style. However, you will be required to come in on the same day if there is an urgent HR matter that requires your assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 5 or higher) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in providing HR advisory services, within an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert HR support and advice to schools and academies, covering the full spectrum of HR-related matters.
- Contribute to the development of the HR function, ensuring it aligns with the organisation’s vision and values. Identify and pursue business opportunities with both new and existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers, offering reliable, solution-oriented guidance while maintaining high standards of customer service and professional integrity.
- Continuously develop expertise in both HR practices and commercial aspects to deliver a service that is both value-driven and commercially aware.
- Undertake specialised HR tasks and projects, tailored to specific deliverables and customer needs, using in-depth HR knowledge and experience.
- Provide professional HR advice and support to headteachers, school governors, and other stakeholders across a wide range of HR services, including employment law and school-specific policies.
- Build and sustain effective working relationships with clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their organisational needs and providing expert, customer-focused solutions.
- Support line managers with complex HR issues, including disciplinary actions, performance management, redundancies, absences, and grievances, from initial advice through to support in formal meetings and hearings.
- Participate in safeguarding meetings related to allegations against school staff, providing HR advice to ensure the protection and welfare of children and young people.
