Description:

YOU HAVE

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related qualification.
  • Prior experience working in a similar environment as a Generalist HR Administrator or Coordinator, and you’re looking for your next career step.
  • A developing understanding of HR laws and regulations, such as Fair Work Act, health and safety acts and regulations, etc. You don’t have to be an expert but knowing the basics and where to look for information is important.
  • Worked in a dynamic environment where you were required to be highly organised, manage conflicting priorities whilst meeting deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively develop effective solutions to solve problems related to operational HR challenges, risks, etc.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a HR Advisor at Lumary, you will own all administration and coordination across the employee journey and have responsibilities in providing advice and support to employees and managers on their HR-related queries and needs. This role will support the entire Lumary team; we are based in Australia, United States and the Philippines.

THE DAY TO DAY ROLE MAY LOOK LIKE

  • Managing all employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Handling changes in employment conditions, including contract amendments and coordination with IT and Finance teams.
  • Responding to employee queries (including employee relations and grievances), ensuring quality and timely responsiveness, and productive outcomes or escalation as required.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR system information and staff records.
  • Supporting the Employee Journey team and collaborate across teams to achieve Lumary’s objectives and key results.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc recruitment and learning activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and e-learning content creation, etc.
  • Continuously optimise and improve HR systems and processes.
  • Staying updated on relevant legislation changes impacting the business and employees.
  • Supporting various organisational initiatives, including brand events, staff volunteering, and internal communications.
