Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The HR Advisor for UK will be instrumental in providing expert HR support across these regions. This role will involve advising on local employment laws, managing employee relations, supporting recruitment efforts, and ensuring compliance with both company policies and regional regulations. The successful candidate will need to be highly organised, culturally aware, and fluent in English.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE EXCITING THINGS YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Employee Relations:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and local employment laws specific to UK.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and work to resolve conflicts in a consistent and fair manner.
  • HR Policies and Compliance:
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with UK labor laws.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR initiatives and projects specific to the UK.
  • Monitor regional HR metrics and provide reports to the HR Manager and senior leadership.
  • HR Administration:
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records for the UK.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters, and termination paperwork, ensuring compliance with regional laws.
  • Support payroll processing and benefits administration for employees in UK.
  • Employee Engagement:
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives tailored to the cultural and regional needs of the UK teams.
  • Organise and participate in regional employee events and activities.
  • Gather and analyse feedback from employees to propose improvements to HR processes and programs.
