Utility Bidder is a leading energy consultancy focused on helping businesses secure the best energy deals while reducing costs. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate HR Advisor to join our team based in our Spinningfields offices in the heart of Manchester.
As an HR Advisor at Utility Bidder, you will play a key role in supporting our people operations, providing guidance and support to management and employees, and ensuring a positive work environment. You will be responsible for supporting recruitment, implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and supporting staff development and wellbeing initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in an HR advisory or generalist role
  • Knowledge of recruitment, applicant tracking systems (Workable), and onboarding
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships and manage employee relations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident in providing guidance and support to managers and employees
  • Relevant HR qualifications (CIPD or equivalent) would be advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and support to management and employees on various HR matters
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth integration for new hires
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations issues, resolving conflicts and providing solutions
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Ensure up to date knowledge of employment legislation
