Description:

About the Role: We are looking for an HR Advisor/Workflow Coordinator (f/m/d) to join our Global HR Services team to promote positive Associate experiences from Hire to Retire. Associates will work with HR teams and HR regional stakeholders to optimize the delivery of central HR services to the Enterprise. In this role you will be passionate about providing HR support for the Enterprise, energized by collaborating on cross functional teams, and recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.
This position will be located at our facility in Putzbrunn, Germany, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3 years of HR or customer-facing work experience
  • Experience with continuous improvement concepts
  • Effective influencing and conflict resolution skills with excellent communication, both written and oral
  • Practices and is a good role model for Gore culture and our guiding principles
  • Demonstrated independent judgment and critical thinking skills to assess and resolve associate needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly in ambiguous situations and is willing to adapt to changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, and drive projects to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize large and complex workload
  • Ability to travel up to 5%

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification
  • Prior HR Shared Services experience including a demonstrated ability to resolve complex human resource inquiries
  • Experience leading continuous improvement activities, including but not limited to, process mapping of workflows, project management, and problem solving

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for providing solutions to HR needs
  • Monitor unassigned cases in the HR Services case management system, HR Services voice mail and email box. and conduct intake, diagnose, and assign the most appropriate HR resource for the inquiry, including the region
  • Create cases in case management system if needed, assess cases to determine Category, Sub-Category, Service Group, to be assigned to, Priority, Disposition and Source (if applicable)
  • Manage cases and associate information, thoroughly document details of inquiries and other work presented by Center associates and the business using HR Services tools such as Trackit, Peoplesoft, etc.
  • Inform and guide Associates to Gore HR policies, processes, and guidelines effectively, consistently, and culturally aligned to support our associates and business needs
  • Demonstrate independent judgment and critical thinking skills to assess and resolve associate needs, influence effective solutions and escalate needs to appropriate resource, as needed
  • Maintain files and Associate data accurately and in accordance to state/federal law
  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve HR Services organizational effectiveness and change initiatives to increase the effectiveness of HR systems, policies and processes
  • Demonstrate the ability to work flexibly in ambiguous situations and is willing to adapt to changing environment
  • Invest in on-going development of individual skills in HR functional excellence and Subject Matter Expertise areas in line with business needs
