DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

Berkshire Associates (Legacy Biddle) is a people analytics and compliance consulting firm dedicated to providing high-quality work in Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action Planning (AAP), and Employee Selection. We are looking to fill two full-time HR analyst positions in our EEO/AA Division. Under the direct supervision of a Managing Consultant, the incumbents will work as business-to-business consultants supporting Human Resources professionals to ensure their organizations’ compliance with various EEO and AAP regulatory requirements. More importantly, the successful candidates will also be influential partners in their clients’ equity and diversity efforts. A background in HR or previous experience in EEO/AAP compliance is desired but not required. Berkshire will provide the necessary training and support to prepare the candidate for their role as an EEO/AA consultant. Qualifications The successful candidate must: Have the aptitude to learn the regulations and the analyses behind affirmative action planning; Have a strong verbal and written communication skills; Have the ability to cultivate great client-consultant partnerships; Be highly organized; Have the ability to multi-task and have excellent time management skills; Be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and other MS Office applications; Be able to work with a team, as well as, work independently to complete projects; Be very detail-oriented and can quickly spot potential issues with their own or their co-workers’ work products; Have a Bachelor’s degree o At least one (1) year work experience in a professional setting is preferred o Relevant work experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree requirement Job Duties Work with various in-house applications and tools to complete affirmative action plans (AAPs) and to address other federal and state reporting requirements such as EEO-1, VETS, Pay Equity reports Directly communicate with clients through verbal and written forms in a timely manner Communicate the data requirements and observed data issues to the clients Provide regular project status updates to clients Review, set up, and analyze various data sets primarily using Excel and other in-house tools Provide training and guidance to clients regarding EEO and AA requirements and employer obligations with or without support from team members or other senior staff members Appropriately interpret and convey the results of the analyses to the clients Travel as necessary to conduct training, presentations, or to attend conferences Work with a team of analysts, consultants, and business operations staff to fulfill their own or other team members’ work products Maintain complete information on various assigned projects through a project management tool Learn and understand the principles of and the laws behind EEO/AA planning Continued education through reading various articles and publications and attending training and conferences/seminars Benefits Great health, dental, and vision benefits 401K with employer matching Paid sick/vacation leave Hybrid work setup (2 days in-office and 3 days remote) Paid holidays PLUS a personal and floating holidays
