Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE INCLUDE:
- Support the delivery of the Group’s annual review process. This include providing accurate and timely remuneration data metrics, analyses and information packs to support business needs via detailed and rigorous data and reward management.
- Working with operating companies to ensure its employee and proposal data are accurate, up to date, clean and the annual review template, tools, procedures and deadlines are followed.
- Undertake market survey results review and develop competitive remuneration & benefits benchmarks/ranges.
- Support all performance, reward and HR operational related programs, databases and matters.
- Support the delivery of Group’s internal and external reporting requirements by managing data collation from operating companies. Ensure deadlines and delivery of various HR, performance, reward, workforce, talent, diversity and engagement reportings.
- Complete workforce related submissions to external parties such as HOCHTIEF, DJSI, WGEA etc.
- One focus area is to develop interactive and Power BI reporting, metrics and dashboards by leveraging the Oracle HCM HR system. This involves utilising an array of cloud-based technologies to: ingest, store, prepare, train and model pertinent company and HR data in order to create insightful, intuitive and interactive visualisations of exploratory, predictive and prescriptive analyses that support executive decision-making and operational efficiencies.
- Continuously explore opportunities to enhance/streamline HR procesess, data analytics and reporting via improvements to definitions, processes, systems and outputs through the application data driven techniques.
- Work closely with the Oracle Cloud HCM project team and relevant operating companies to ensure system and HR requirements are considered.
- Support the Oracle Cloud HCM management and other related tasks as required.
- Provide day-to-day HR operational support to CIMIC Admin, IDD and other employees end to end lifecycle activities.
- Drive process improvements to maximise efficient and effective HR operations while ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and governance frameworks.
- Participation in project groups and workshops as required by the business for efficient and effective HR operations.Other business requirements, activities or adhoc tasks as required.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:
Master or Bachelor degree in area of specialty (or equivalent experience)

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:
- Ideally 4 to 6 years’ working experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist within a remuneration and/or HR environments
- Minimum 3 years’ performing data manipulation and analysis with Excel, Python and/or R
- Experience visualising data Power BI, Tableau or libraries such as ggplot2). to stakeholders and non-technical audience.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and acute attention to detail
- Exposure to statistical and machine learning methods such regression, clustering and predictive analytics.
- Advanced excel skills including VBA skills, Power Query
- Demonstrated experience delivering analytical work to drive positive business impact
- Ability to traverse between “big picture” and “fine detail”, synthesize data. Possess a knack to apply data techniques to identify trends and insights
- Ability to work with large data sets, ambiguity and offer innovative pragmatic solutions
- Strong aptitude for methodical problem-solving.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player, resilient and strong tolerance level
- Ability to work autonomously whilst proactively managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced high-pressure environment with tight deadlines while demonstrating a high degree of accuracy in output
- Desired: Proven track record and technical expertise in HR, reward, reporting, business analytics and systems
- Demonstrated discretion, confidentiality, and strong ethical valuesDesired: Previous knowledge and experience with ERP (e.g., Oracle)
