Description:
Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled HR Analyst to join our client.
Contract Dates: 9 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Range: $28 to $32.99 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the PeopleSoft HR/Payroll data, including any tests or validations required
- Assist in the preparation of manual tax slips
- Assist in the preparation of amended tax slips
- Support with all payroll accounting year-end payroll data to ensure they are recorded and processed accurately
- Recommend and implement changes to current processes to gain efficiencies and accuracy
- Responsible for tax adjustments and resolution with business partners
- Process quarterly Director Fees payroll
- Responsible for manual off cycle processing
- Responsible for processing bi-weekly cheque reversals
- Running retiree data integrity reports and ensuring the information on the system is validated/corrected
- Action RMDS reports to correct all data integrity errors to ensure the accuracy of the year-end tax slips
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner Designation, (or working on completion) PCP
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Federal/Provincial and U.S. regulatory and legislative requirements related to payroll (Canada Revenue Agency/ Revenu Quebec/IRS)
- A sound knowledge of People Soft (Oracle based HR application), as well as the principals of Resolution Management, and the principals of the Data Integrity Reconciliation
- Strong excel skills
