Pruvia was established by individuals who had diverse experience in professional programs in Human Resource Management, Business Management, and Marketing etc. PIL was formed with achieving and exuding corporate standards in providing solutions and quality service delivery in our core areas (Human resource management, Training, Market Activation/Campaign etc).
We are recruiting to fill the position below:

JOB BRIEF

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR and Compliance Officer for our client.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for making and ensuring policy compliance in the organisation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • B.sc/HND in Human Resources, Business/Administration, International Relations or relevant field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR & Compliance.
  • Knowledge of Labour laws and HR policies.
  • Remain up to date on federal and state laws related to the organization and update policies accordingly.
  • Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager
  • Experience in risk management
  • Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Integrity and professional ethics
  • Business acumen
  • Attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Regulate and manage internal company policy, code of conduct and ethics.
  • Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
  • Draft and revise company policies
  • Take action in dealing with non-compliance situations and creating realistic plans to overcome them.
  • Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses
  • Evaluate business activities (e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk
  • Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed
  • Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
  • Communicate with employees and rnsure they comply with internal and external laws and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance and make effective legal compliance program
  • Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
  • Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals
  • Design and manage control systems to address cases of violation of internal business policies.
  • Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
  • Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies.
