Description:
We are looking for an HR and Payroll Administrator to be part of our team in the Food & Food Processing industry located in Gardena, California. As an HR and Payroll Administrator, you will be accountable for handling payroll processes, human resources administration tasks, and other responsibilities as assigned. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial systems and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions.
Responsibilities:
- Process multi-state payroll on a weekly and semi-monthly basis
- Maintain and update multi-state Tax IDs
- Handle tasks related to HR as assigned
- Manage and process Purchase Orders (POs) and invoices
- Utilize strong Excel skills for financial and data management
- Administer benefits such as 401k and health insurance
- Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP Workforce Now for administrative tasks
- Handle HR and payroll-related auditing tasks
- Perform administration of benefit functions
- Use Crystal Reports and Ceridian for generating reports and analyzing data.
- Must have a minimum of three years’ experience in HR and Payroll Administration.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is essential.
- Knowledge of Ceridian and Crystal Reports is advantageous.
- Familiarity with 401k - RRSP Administration is highly desirable.
- Experience with About Time software is beneficial.
- Must be able to perform Accounting Functions efficiently.
- Auditing skills are necessary.
- Must be able to handle Benefit Functions.
- Should have experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration.
- Proficiency in handling Purchase Orders is required.
- Must have experience in Coding Invoices.
- Food and Food Processing industry experience is a plus.
