Description:
This role is accountable for the HR function in Finland working closely with the management team of the cluster and HR department of Sibelco Group. The person supports managers and acts as the primary contact for the workers on all HR-related matters.
The location of this position is in Kimito, Nilsiä or Karvia but partial remote work is possible.
In the role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- All employment matters and the employers various obligations
- Implementation of the group’s HR processes and practices in Finland.
- Recruitments in collaboration with hiring managers and assist in onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Developing the work community and improving employee engagement
- Supporting employee well-being
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of employee and payroll information across various systems and service providers’ records
- The personnel budgeting and HR reporting
- Employee benefits
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders etc. public authorities, occupational health care providers, pension insurance companies, and trade unions
- Serve as the key user of WorkDay.
- Ensuring that the monthly and hourly salaries are paid correctly and on time.

To be successful in the role, you have to:
- Prior experience in HR matters
- Experience in payroll
- Open-minded and good communication skills
- Strong negotiation & people relations skills
- Proactive with good problem-solving skills
- Finnish and English proficient in verbal & writing. Swedish is an asset
