THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a professional and motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our HR Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to the HR Team on all tasks with specific responsibilities related to recruitment and onboarding of team members. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate from a Business/Human Resources Post Graduate program to gain some valuable HR experience. This is a contract position with possible extension or full time in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Payroll department.
  • Assist in the recruitment, selection and onboarding process, including; job descriptions, reviewing resumes, screening candidates, coordinating interviews.
  • Work with the Onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition into the company and ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed.
  • Assist with licensing procedures including letters and notifications of entries and exits.
  • Provide support with the administration of company surveys
  • Assist with the administration of the Health and Safety Program
  • Participate in the arranging of quarterly town halls
  • Draft general forms, letters, reports and emails as required
  • Assist with the administration of team culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
