Description:

Our non-profit client in the Deep River area is seeking two motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join their team. We are currently looking for an HR Assistant to help with Recruiting and general HR support, and another individual to assist with Benefits & Payroll administration.
Both human resources positions are contract to hire, offering $20 per hour and a pathway to permanent employment based on performance.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ years experience in the HR field
  • Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the hiring process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and conducting reference checks.
  • Support staffing and scheduling needs.
  • Track benefit time and monitor time off requests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
  • Complete payroll processing accurately and on time.
  • Communicate and manage employee benefits, including 403(b) plans and medical insurance.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefits and payroll information.
