Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations within the department. This position requires strong administrative skills, proficiency in HRIS systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and employees alike.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within Human Resources.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in data entry with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience with ATS platforms like Taleo is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills related to HR functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies on various platforms and managing applications through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Taleo or Workday.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data entry is accurate within HRIS systems like PeopleSoft or Salesforce.
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Aid in the management of employee benefits and assist with payroll queries as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct social media management to promote company culture and job openings.
  • Assist in organising training sessions and employee development programmes.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining files.
