Description:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and demands.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
The Human Resource Assistant provides administrative and HR support to the Office of Information Technology. This position focuses on student, temp and unpaid appointments; electronic file management; planning events; reconciliation of leave balances and WolfTime assistance.
Essential Duties Include:
- Oversees process for electronic filing by uploading and scanning employee documents into OnBase file system.
- Manages new hire process for Student Workers, Temps and Unpaid Appointments
- Monitors and keeps track of background check endorsements
- Approve and enter time for bi-weekly employees
- Ensuring supervisors are approving time-sheets in a timely manner and exceptions are being resolved
- Provide supervisors reports on their temps/students to see when separation dates are approaching.
- Terminates/Separates bi-weekly employees at request of manager(s)
- Assists with logistical preparation for events and meetings, which includes reserving space, ordering awards, printing certificates and catering orders.
- Assist with monthly reconciling of employee leave balances via WolfTime
- Maintains and updates spreadsheet for employee salaries and distributions
- Manages yearly WolfTime Certification Process
- Runs HR Queries
- International Employment Liaison
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
