Description:

We are offering a role for a Human Resources Assistant located in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. The role involves ensuring accuracy and attendance control for hourly employees, maintaining timesheets per job bids, attending and taking notes at weekly meetings, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, recording data, transferring data, and proof-reading. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and attendance control for hourly employees.
  • Maintain timesheets according to job bids.
  • Attend and take notes during weekly meetings.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets for data organization.
  • Record necessary data accurately.
  • Transfer data between different systems or departments as needed.
  • Proof-read documents and data entries for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Utilize Data Entry and Microsoft Excel skills to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data entry, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
  • Previous experience in a Human Resources role or similar, with a solid understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR software and HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and integrity.
