Job Requirements
HR Assistant will recruit for the open positions for one of our Nashville TN accounts and assist and guide employees or candidates through various human resource processes, answering any questions they may have relating to human resources procedures and policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain employment data into applicable databases.
- Assist the HR Department with the hiring process, including submitting job postings, advertisement process, and scheduling candidate interviews.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assist recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates and interviewing possible candidates.
- Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations and employee training sessions.
- Prepare new hire offer letters and onboarding paperwork.
- Monitor completion of onboarding tasks by new hires.
- Review the onboarding packages from new hires for completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate onboarding issues and orientation to new hires and managers.
- Handle inquiries from employees.
- Provide support to the Nashville Account Manager regarding HR investigations.
Work Experience
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred; commensurate experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- At least three years in human resource roles is highly preferred.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills, including relationship building and time management.
- Ability to work effectively and flexibly to produce high quality work products in an extremely fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet specific objectives under time constraints.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of information used or viewed in the performance of job duties and responsibilities.
- Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
