Salary –£22,500-£25,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working on completion of probation
Holiday – 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days)

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of working in an administrative role in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Experience in HR or Payroll will be advantageous
  • Good educational background
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Hardworking, self-starter with a strong willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to pick up new concepts quickly and also change priorities quickly
  • Confidence with formatting documentation and numbers
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality
  • Must be an efficient and personable communicator
  • A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting role for an HR Assistant in our Portsmouth office.
Key responsibilities of an HR Assistant will include:
At TC, you’ll be a key member of our team from day one. You’ll get involved in working with Partners and Senior Managers very quickly and given individual responsibility for delivering services to them. You will take full HR administration responsibility for a full region so will have your own offices to look after.
You can expect to be managing new starter and leaver processes, updating monthly payroll documentation and checking payslips, monitoring sickness records, managing contractual changes and employee life cycle tasks for 500+ staff, database management and supporting the Head of HR and Senior HR Adviser with projects.
Alongside hands-on experience, you’ll benefit from on-the-job training from more senior members of the team to help you develop in the role.
You will be involved in processing contractual and payroll information where speed, accuracy and delivering an excellent service are all critical.
