REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE OF OUR HR BUSINESS PARTNER:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with technology or software experience desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Be a team player, with a proactive and professional approach.
  • CIPD Qualified or equivalent.
  • Generalist HR professional, with recruitment experience.
  • Solid Employee Relations / Employment law knowledge.
  • Experience of mergers and acquisitions desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage own workload.
  • Flexible to travel across our UK sites when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with department heads to understand and execute the divisions HR and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of the tech and software departments.
  • Provide guidance and support to line managers on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures, including sharing knowledge and best practice of employment law.
  • Have a full oversight, whilst advising and supporting managers with employee relations issues.
  • Seek to attract, recruit, and onboard top talent for tech, IT, and software roles.
  • Develop job descriptions and specifications in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Support performance management processes to ensure our people are at their best, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
  • Coach managers on effective performance management techniques and employee development strategies.
  • Provide guidance on salary reviews and ensure alignment with market trends.
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the tech, IT, and software teams.
  • Manage and support with cross-functional HR projects.
