Description:

Reporting to the HRD and working closely with operational managers/directors, the HRBP plays a key role in ensuring the deployment of HR strategy and the quality of HR processes execution. In collaboration with HR team members in the Benelux and of the European BSC (Business Shared Service Center) and COE’s (Center of Expertise), he/she acts as a single point of contact for managers and employees of the entify for all major HR topics. Regular presence and visibility in the field is required.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Education: master degree in business or equivalent
  • Work experience: min of 5 years
  • Languages: Working knowledge of Dutch, French & English
  • Labor law and Compensation & Benefits experience is recommended

Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong business relationship with the internal client, play an active role in the Management Team of his/her entity and champion the HR agenda together with business priorities.
  • Provide coaching and consultative support to management on leadership development, talent and performance management, change and people management issues, diversity & inclusion.
  • Collaborate closely with Comp&Ben Manager to ensure proper alignment of compensation and benefits framework. Act as interface between the employee, the Comp&Ben Manager and his/her team, in all contractual and compensation and benefits topics, from job profile set-up to compensation review and termination package.
  • Represent HR in Works Council and other union meetings and ensure an optimal social dialogue within the entity.
  • Collaborate closely with the Talent team to facilitate the development of employees and management, ensuring that appropriate learning and development initiatives are properly implemented, as well as to attract and select future talents.
  • Conduct career interviews, contribute to talent reviews and succession planning, contribute to a successful Employee Experience.
  • Raise staff’s performance through an effective performance management approach and encourage feedback.
  • Ensure relevant reportings and HR data analysis are made available for the management team.
  • Actively contribute to annual labor cost budget preparation and follow-up in his/her scope. Responsible for the respect of headcounts approved at the entity level.
  • Coordinate Labour relations activities (attend to local work councils of his/her scope and to all negotiations meeting with unions) and informal.
