Description:
Albany International Corporation is seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner for our Corporate Head Quarters, in Rochester, New Hampshire. This role will work with the HR Manager to support the day to day duties of the department, playing a critical role in the recruiting, selection, hiring, onboarding and retention processes. Will contribute to the compliance of HR policies and practices, employee relations, and labor laws and regulations. Will be key to the development and maintenance of a positive and engaging work environment.
Albany International Corp. is a global advanced textiles and materials processing company. The products and technologies help make paper smoother, tissue softer, and aircraft engines and structures lighter. The company has 2 core businesses, The Machine Clothing segment -is the world’s leading producer of custom-designed fabrics and belts essential to production in the paper, nonwovens, and other process industries and Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is a rapidly growing supplier of highly engineered composite parts for the aerospace industry.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant study work (Human Resources/ Business Management)
- Significant recruiting experience (5 years)
- Demonstrable experience with HR performance and recruiting metrics
- People oriented and results driven
- Human Resources support experience
- Expert in Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel; creating presentations.
- Knowledge of HR Recruiting systems, databases, I-9 and E-Verify
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships Employment law knowledge

Responsibilities:
- Partner with the HR Manager to support corporate employees.
- Lead the recruiting, selection and hiring processes.
- Lead employee onboarding process including working cross-functionally to ensure proper completion.
- Assists in the development and coordination of Company-wide training programs including new hire orientation and training.
- Coordinates and or/assists in employee event planning including employee wellness initiatives.
- Actively contribute to achieve the HR area goals.
- Identifies and assists HR Leader in resolving various employee and management related issues including work performance, policy interpretation, compensation, employee/manager relations, and co-worker relations.
- Leads the application of HRIS systems to comply with government and policy requirements as part of the recruiting and hiring processes (ADP RM, I-9, E-Verify).
- Assists in developing and implementing various employee relations and communication initiatives.
- Foster a positive work environment
