AMVAC, an American Vanguard company is seeking a HR Business Partner (HRBP) to partner with Business Units (BUs) and HR Center of Excellence (COE) to design and lead programs that support business units and focus on achieving their mission and goals. The HRBP will be part of a dynamic, entrepreneurial team that will set new ways of working within the organization to establish more robust and standardized HR practices globally.
The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a strategic partner to designated Business Units working closely with leadership teams to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures. The role will focus on creating standards for performance management and learning & development aligning with your HRBP counterparts across multiple international regions. The HRBP will be responsible for executing compensation and talent management strategies customized to the diverse needs and regulatory requirements of each region.
The HRBP must demonstrate deep expertise in facilitating performance reviews, addressing employee grievances, developing training programs, and onboarding new hires with an ability to balance competing priorities. The HRBP must also adhere to local requirements and needs while maintaining compliance with all relevant international laws and regulations. The role requires strong communication skills and the desire to serve as a partner to BU Presidents, provide HR advice and guidance on both local and international HR practices.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATONS
- Bachelor’s degree; preferably in a Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive HR work experience
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- 5+ years of Global progressive HR experience in LATAM / ASIA / EMEA regions
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS (ADP) platforms experience
- Experience working across international geographies to effectively manage cultural nuances with local & regional collaborators
- Polished communication skills and experience communicating effectively with a variety of internal stakeholders including HR peers, BU executives, functional leaders, employees of all levels
- Experience establishing and deploying HR best practices to drive consistency globally

Responsibilities:
- Provide strong organization, prioritization, planning, and project management for global HR objectives in support of multiple Business Units (BUs) globally
- Lead global change management efforts ensuring cross-cultural sensitivity and implement effective communication strategies tailored to different regions
- Analyze business needs to develop and support the talent management strategy for American Vanguard globally; influence hiring, succession, and promotion decisions
- Define global HR strategies and initiatives that drive achievement of business goals in partnership with Business Unit (BU) and Human Resources (HR) leaders
- Lead the execution and adaptation of global HR programs and practices including performance success, compensation, workforce planning & management, and talent management
- Oversee the performance management process to include reviewing and advising management regarding corrective action to improve performance and recognition programs to motivate exceptional performers
