We are looking for an exceptional HR Business Partner to join the team who will work closely with the business to deliver an outstanding HR service. As part of a small team the role will be responsible for providing a proactive HR service that covers the employee lifecycle. As the first point of contact for HR issues, the role will support staff with queries in addition to coaching and advising managers on HR related matters.
The role would be suited to someone who has achieved their CIPD Level 3 and looking for their next role where they can continue to develop their skills and experience within an SME.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/CAPABILITIES:

  • CIPD Qualified Level 3
  • HR Generalist experience
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law
  • Personal integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with a broad range of people across the whole business
  • Passion for customer service
  • Results orientated whilst being people focused
  • Resilient and highly motivated

Responsibilities:

  • Develop productive working relationships with staff, managers and department heads to influence decision making when dealing with HR issues.
  • Deliver a proactive and comprehensive HR service that covers the employee lifecycle.
  • Be the first point of contact for HR queries and issues.
  • Coach and advise line managers in dealing with HR issues.
  • Oversee the recruitment process ensuring a timely and effective service that meets the business needs.
  • Provide support and mentoring to the HR team in delivery of a high performance team culture.
  • Support the Head of HR with HR initiatives and projects.
  • Review and update the staff handbook and HR policies ensuring compliance with employment law.
  • Provide management data to the business in the form of KPIs and absence data.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness of HR practices.
