Description:
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE OF THE HR BUSINESS PARTNER:
- Depth of knowledge in a range of HR functional areas and deep understanding of the techniques and approaches associated with HR activity
- The ability to contribute to development of HR policy and processes for the defined area of responsibility
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation
- Strong project management skills and stakeholder engagement skills
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE HR BUSINESS PARTNER:
- Level 7 or equivalent HR qualification, be a chartered member of the CIPD and committed to continuous professional development.

THE ROLE
As a HR Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you’ll lead and manage the roll out and management of a HR People Plan and initiatives within a business area.
Day to day, you’ll sponsor, lead, drive and ensure the delivery of complex business change projects, ensuring alignment with the people plan, and realisation of the business objectives.
- Develop and propose adaptations of HR activity to meet the specific remit of a business or contract
- Apply subject matter expertise to the development of policy, process, or approach, reflecting external best practice and ensuring that they add value to the business
- Consider the deployment of HR processes to meet the requirements of the area supported, to ensure these are fully implemented and deliver the intended benefit to the business or areas supported
- Support the development of appropriate skills, knowledge and behaviours across the business to enable managers and employees to achieve business objectives in support of our purpose and principles
- Compile, present and disseminate business information to line managers, based on effective HR administration services and to inform them of performance issues associated with people
This role is full time, 35 hours and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.
