JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and passionate HR Business Partner to join our team at BD and support the BDI Business Unit.
This position is responsible for providing a highly professional level of generalist HR support to UK organisation, focused on our Commercial Organization. The HR BP will report into the HR Director, North West Europe and will work closely with our HR Shared Service Centre (ASC) and the Centre of Excellence (CoE) colleagues to ensure a great associate and managers´ experience.
The purpose of this role is to provide proactive, can-do, HR partnership to the UK organisation to develop and implement people solutions aligned to the business strategy. The role involves assisting with more complex or sensitive day to day people issues. The HR Manager acts as a point of contact within the business for all people related issues and is a people champion ensuring that our associates are always high on the business agenda.
Responsibilities:
- Organisational Effectiveness & Development: Partner with managers to address business needs, implement organizational plans, and build capabilities. Act as a trusted advisor, coach, and influence managers on people management and leadership.
- Change Management & Associate Engagement: Communicate changes, implement initiatives, and facilitate workshops to enhance engagement and adaptation.
- Talent Management & Acquisition: Support talent acquisition and development, align top talent with business priorities, and ensure diversity and inclusion. Participate in interviews and advise on job changes.
- Compensation & Benefits: Provide guidance on compensation, facilitate reviews, and ensure alignment of rewards with performance. Offer benchmarking insights for job offers.
- Associate Engagement & Relations: Guide managers on employee relations and performance issues, use data to drive engagement, and address attrition and retention proactively.
- HR Function Effectiveness: Act as the face of HR, partner with ASC and CoE to meet needs, coach managers and associates on workforce management, and ensure consistent HR service delivery.
