HR BUSINESS PARTNER
Hi, Petr here. I’m the Global Head of HR Operations at BISim and I’m on the hunt for an HR Business Partner to join our Prague based team! There are 12 of us in the HR Ops team and your future colleagues are based in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, UK and USA. We have a fairly flat structure, so you will be reporting directly to me.
BISim is fully owned subsidiary of BAE Systems inc. We are specializing in developing world-leading game-based military simulations for major NATO powers and their allies. Our mission is to advance the entire industry by leveraging the latest technologies and trends, including whole-world simulation, virtual reality, motion tracking, and AI.
You will be primarily supporting our Prague based operations (there are about 200 of us here) but a lot of the HR work is done on the global scale, so there will be plenty of interaction with colleagues from other offices. If you’re looking for “same stuff, different day” kind of work, than we’re probably not the right match. There is a lot going on (in a good sense) so what I’m looking for is growth and result oriented mindset.
For this role you will need some experience behind your belt as HR Generalist or HR Business Partner - you’ll receive all the support and training needed but the role is not a fit for fresh graduate.
You’ll be working closely with different teams to make sure our HR initiatives line up with our company goals. You’ll build strong bonds with team leaders, customize HR strategies for our top-performing groups, and focus on talent management, employee growth, performance, and overall effectiveness. Your role will be crucial in shaping and improving our company culture.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is an advantage
- Solid understanding of labor legislation
- Familiarity with full employee lifecycle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Agile mindset and strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations
Responsibilities:
- Act as a main point for contact for any HR related matters for CZ based employees and managers
- In cooperation with Global Head of HR Operations, BISim’s Senior Legal Counsel and BAE Systems HR Business Partners, develop, implement and review HR policies throughout the organization
- Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
- Assist Global Head of HR Operations in implement training and development plans for our CZ employees
- Plan and administer bi-annual performance review sessions for all EMEA employees
- Take responsibility for employee data integrity in all HR systems (BambooHR, Reflektive, Skillsoft) and other HR systems
- Monitor employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
- Responsible for onboarding and offboarding delivery for all CZ based employees
- Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
- Train to be able to act as a backup to run monthly payroll
- Stay up-to-date with changes in labor legislation
