Job Description

As an HR Business Partner, you’ll be more than just a generalist—you’ll be a trusted advisor, guiding and inspiring your client groups. Your role is to support our teams with enthusiasm and care, helping them thrive in all areas of employee relations, compensation, recruitment, health and safety, onboarding, and performance management. Your mission is to align and implement CG-wide initiatives that truly resonate with our brand values and drive our success.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a Trusted Advisor: Offer thoughtful and strategic advice on all employee relations matters. Your coaching and policy guidance will help our teams navigate challenges and grow.
  • Welcome with Canadian Warmth: Ensure every new team member feels right at home with a comprehensive and engaging onboarding experience.
  • Foster Growth: Coordinate local training and development opportunities, creating an environment where continuous learning is celebrated.
  • Resolve and Reconcile: Handle conflict situations with empathy and fairness. Investigate and address complaints, ensuring a supportive and respectful workplace.
  • Be a Resource: Respond to inquiries with clarity and consistency, ensuring all teams are well-informed about policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ensure Compliance: Navigate employment legislation with expertise, ensuring our practices meet legal requirements and reflect our commitment to fairness and equity.
  • Promote Safety: Support our health and safety programs to maintain a secure work environment, leveraging industry best practices and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Support Performance: Aid in managing the performance cycle, offering guidance on performance concerns and ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
  • Facilitate Transitions: Conduct exit interviews and manage departures with attention to compliance and a focus on gathering insights to improve retention.
  • Drive Initiatives: Play a key role in supporting and implementing various HR projects and initiatives, contributing to our ongoing success and evolution.
