Description:
JOB SUMMARY-
The HR Business partner serves as an employee relations resource for Department leaders and employees of Davis Medical Center. The person in this role is expected to be a resource for all employees to bring questions and concerns to a resolution, and/or appropriately guide them to a subject matter expert through partnering with local and system HR resources. Additionally, the HR Business Partner will serve as a learning resource for leaders, identifying training needs and delivering (or arranging for) appropriate coaching and training.
In collaboration with the Senior HR Business Partner, Davis Health System the HR Business Partner will be responsible for the rollout and communication of changes that impact front line employees. Obtains and provides resources to implement change initiatives. Serves as a role model within the client organization by demonstrating commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in organizational performance.
The person in this role will be expected to respond to urgent employee relations matters which may include off-hours (nights and/or weekends, if needed.)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related degree required; or a combination of directly related experience & education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: 5 years of employee relations and/or relevant HR experience required
Licensure/Certification : Specialty HR certification such as PHR or SPHR preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Demonstrated flexibility, able to change direction quickly and reprioritize based on urgent needs.
· Prior experience in managing projects from start to finish, and through ambiguity and constant change.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering on commitments.
· Outstanding communication skills in both written and verbal form to include prior experience giving presentations.
· Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate.
· Performs work under minimal supervision.
