ABOUT YOU

  • Tertiary qualifications in appropriate business related discipline
  • High level facilitation, coaching, counselling and conflict resolution skills
  • Significant experience as a generalist HR professional with an understanding of the application of HR policies and procedures, enterprise agreements and legislative requirements relevant to a full range of HR activities; preferably in a manufacturing or industrial / blue collar environment
  • Experience in planning and implementing change initiatives to improve organisational performance and to align with business objectives
  • Previous experience using an integrated Human Resource information systems
  • The ability to negotiate and influence well at all levels of the Business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A high level of integrity, objectivity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Well developed analytical skills & intellectual curiosity

If you love a role where no two days are the same, then this is for you! In this newly created role, you will report to the HR Australian Country Lead and join a team of likeminded professionals. You will also work in partnership with our divisions and be responsible for the provision of strategic and operational HR advice and solutions across the business. The role will include:

  • Leading the delivery of HR solutions and services that deliver business outcomes, build capability and improve performance
  • Contributing significantly to supporting a safe, positive workplace culture base on shared values and common goals
  • Guiding, coaching and supporting managers in the consistent application of HR policies, procedures and tools
  • Building and maintaining strategic working relationships within client groups and key stakeholders to understand and anticipate business needs and priorities
  • Preserving and enhancing employer - employee relations, including investigations where required
  • Monitoring compliance to Group policies and employment laws
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle (employee contracts, employee on-boarding and exit processes)
  • Prepare new employees by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
  • Support Integration activities following a recent business acquisition with the onboarding of 200 new teammates
