Description:
We’re looking for a passionate and successful HR Business Partner Europe to join our HR team. This position is located in our Europe office in Porto, Portugal where we have recently been recognised as a Great place to Work the second year in a row.
As the HR Business Partner Europe, you will play a crucial role in supporting our European operations through effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and other HR-related activities. You will also be responsible for managing HR functions specific to LS Retail office in Porto. Fostering supportive and collaborative team culture is one of the most important task for the HR function at LS Retail.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Relevant educational background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations in Portugal.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Fluent in English.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for various positions across Europe.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are well-integrated into the company culture and operations.
- Develop and implement training programs to support employee development and enhance organizational capabilities.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations for the Porto office, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with local regulations.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and updated in line with best practices and legal requirements.
- Support organizational change initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work on HR strategic initiative with the HR department.
