JOB DESCRIPTION

HR across Statkraft is continuously working to enable good organisational and people development, and the best possible day-to-day employee experience for our Statkraft colleagues. We are currently seeking an HR business partner that will help deliver strategic and proactive HR support to assigned leaders and employees in the UK based in our beautiful London office. This role is on a FTC for 10 months.
This role will partner with assigned leaders & managers to define and execute specific people agendas, derived from business and HR strategy, focused on employee experience, talent management, future of work, employee engagement and more.
To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. You will help business leaders look around corners with evidence-based recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.

Your role:

  • Be first point of contact and proactive HR Partner for assigned departments in the UK.
  • Support assigned departments/leaders with annual HR Wheel processes.
  • Make the matrix work – coordinate with HR in the respective Business Areas, corporate HR functions, HR shared services and HR in other countries to ensure great HR delivery for leaders.
  • Support in developing, defining, and implementation of specific local processes based on local needs, where these are not covered by global processes and initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to employer responsibilities and related legislation, agreements, and policies in the UK through solid advice to leaders.
  • Build strong relationships and handle fruitful discussion with unions where applicable.
  • Participate in other Local HR UK initiatives & activities, for example, support in implementing UK D&I strategy, M&A activities, reviewing ways of working, Great place to work action plans etc.
  • Supporting the global talent acquisition team with resourcing for assigned departments/leaders including participate in interviews as required.
  • Other Local HR tasks assigned to help deliver overall UK HR roadmap & participation in global HR projects where appropriate.
  • Team leadership responsibility for assigned HR Advisors Be responsible for Mental Health and wellness for the UK
  • Be responsible for allocating requests coming through Service Now for the UK and proactively drive the implementation of the HR Operating model.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant university degree
  • MCIPD or equivalent
  • Extensive experience from both operational and strategic HR roles where you work to ensure great support and advice to leaders and employees
  • Experience from working in an international matrix organisation
  • Experience from collaboration with employee representatives
  • Strong business understanding and ability to provide data-driven advice to leaders.
  • Flexible, proactive and able to work with ambiguity and change
  • A willingness to learn, try new ways of working.
  • Ability to be strategic but can role up sleeves and be operational as needed
