Alfa Laval is looking for a Human Resource Business Partner for one of our factories in Lund belonging to Operations Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger for the Business Unit GPHE.

In the Business Unit GPHE, we do this by setting accelerating energy efficiency in a wide range of applications (HVAC, Data Centers, and Process Industries) and enable the development of clean power, fuel and chemicals (H2, CCUS and renewable chemicals). Our responsibility covers both capital sales and service activities for our product. With a turnover of 600 M€ in sales, 7 factories, 1,700 employees and strong profitability, the Product group is getting prepared for its next stage of development. We are now looking for a HR Business Partner for one of our factories in Lund.

The global Core Components factory in Lund has around 230 employees with 18 managers. You will be part of the local management team and the HR community for within BU GPHE.
Who you are
You find it easy to create trusting relationships, are outgoing, responsive and at the same time have a strong drive to lead and support in change. Important characteristics are high integrity, business and results orientation and the ability to prioritize. You should be thorough and communicative and be able to express yourself in Swedish and English both orally and in writing. You look at the big picture but can also capture the details and work with them.

The business is in constant change through investments and new ways of working to meet our customers need. The main task for you as HR Business Partner is to challenge and support managers to create a world-class business. To thrive in this role, you are used to working with
HR – related topics in the broad spectrum and enjoy working process-oriented. You support and inspire our managers by pro-actively driving organizational, leadership and competence development to stay competitive/attractive on the people side (for people) and to create customer value.
The job
We care about our Alfa Laval culture and as HR Business Partner you are an important culture ambassador. You will be part of the management team for the factory. You are in close contact with the global HR business Partner, functional manager, for BU GPHE for exchange of information, coordination and development. Your direct manager is the Factory Manager.
The areas you work with operationally are negotiations, gender equality, work environment issues, salary audits, rehab cases etc. You will work within all contract areas and thus have a close collaboration with our union representatives for IF Metall, Unionen, Ledarna and Sveriges Ingenjörer.
From the people strategy you work with your HR people Plan which is your guiding star.

What you know

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent with at least 7 years of experience from a role as HR BP or similar - preferably gained in an international organization
  • Experience providing support and coaching to others
  • Have experience in utilizing data to deliver tangible value to the business
  • You are a team player with a structured approach and an optimistic mindset
  • Used to working with Swedish Labour Law as a guiding star and with our diverse environment
  • Fluent in Swedish and English both verbal and written
