Job Description
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Gulf Commercial Group (GCG) will play a crucial role in aligning Group HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and company needs. The HRBP acts as a strategic partner to senior management, providing insights and guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, and organizational change initiatives. The role does not involve recruitment but will participate in analyzing data related to hiring and conduct interviews for mid-senior level hires. The HRBP will also ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies and work closely with leaders to develop a high-performance culture.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree relevant field
- Desired: CIPD L5 or similar cert
Additional Information
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum: 8+ years of experience in HR, with 4+ years as an HRBP in a corporate environment
- Desired: Experience in similar industry
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Minimum: Strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, knowledge of UAE labor law, HR analytics, employee relations
- Desired: Experience with HR software (e.g., Adrenalin, Smart Recruiters), coaching skills, strong negotiation skills

- Use data analytics to monitor and improve HR metrics, advising on workforce planning and talent management.
- Lead the implementation of Group HR initiatives, ensuring they align with business objectives and support a high-performance culture.
- Participate in succession planning activities, helping to identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles.
- Provide insights on organizational design and recommend changes to improve efficiency and scalability.
