    What we’re looking for:
    As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic partner that provides support on all HR related topics for assigned business unit/department/geography. You will also execute initiatives around employee engagement, recommend HR solutions and build partnerships with store leadership and managers to enhance the employee experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with employees, managers and leaders of assigned business unit or department to understand business objectives and implement best practices, policies and procedures
  • Models agency culture and values (e.g., accountability, teamwork) and promotes retention strategies to achieve agency goals
  • Coaches and mentors managers on engagement and performance management initiatives
  • Conduct internal investigations (i.e. theft, harassment, alert lines, etc.) via behavioral interviewing, financial records investigation, and security surveillance review
  • Conducts investigations for all federal and state agencies
  • Assist and advise on equitable solutions to resolve issues and minimize risks to the agency by interpreting and applying employment laws, regulatory statues, company policy and procedures
  • Provides superior customer support to help drive HR excellence and process improvements
  • Serves as a thought partner and advisor to provide guidance on HR strategies
  • Partner with HR innovations and other team members to ensure accurate completion of employee changes

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in human resources or five (5) years equivalent work experience in human resources
  • Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, CFI, etc.) preferred
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality; functions under minimal supervision
  • Highly dependable; excellent work ethic; flexible in hours and work locations
  • Adapts style to engage individuals at all levels of the organization and sets tone that fosters integrity, respect, and fair treatment
  • Highly responsive and proactive; provides additional context beyond what is requested with a Job Description FRM (HR Business Partner) Page 2 of 2 Rev Date: (07/12/19) sense of urgency
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; Bilingual a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products

WORKING ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ability to push, pull and lift 25 lbs. with or without accommodations
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, tolerate environmental issues such as dust, heat and cold, as well as meet all physical requirements to perform the duties of all positions relating to Human Resources
  • Ability to transport materials and documents, handbooks, supplies, etc. as needed
