Description:

Harris Computer are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will be hybrid-working, 2 days from our Manchester city centre office and 3 days working remotely.
The HRBP will provide a balance of consulting and strategic direction by partnering with leadership to evaluate, develop, implement and execute HR processes, programs and initiatives. They will effectively formulate partnerships across all Human Resource functions to guide and deliver effective workflow processes and resources to support leadership, staff and the HR team with alignment to achieve organizational targets.
The Position

In performing this role your core duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Plays a key HR role for the leadership team and facilitates effective team building of their assigned Business Units. Coaches leadership on value added HR programs including leadership, conflict management, expectation setting, communication and feedback.
  • Acts as a Partner, aligning business strategy with HR services and solutions. Works closely with assigned Business Units to provide the HR/people perspective to business changes; evaluates and contributes the people perspective to business cases, ensuring impacts are addressed and resolved to ensure successful implementation and compliance.
  • Identifies change management issues and works with the business unit leaders and HR specialists to develop and execute change management strategies and solutions
  • Fosters overall engagement and monitors and drives engagement actions and insights
  • Providing strategic planning and ongoing day-to-day support to the senior leadership team;
  • Providing advice, guidance and/or coaching on sensitive confidential and complex HR issues;
  • Assist in development of overall HR process and work flow procedures by recommending improvements or changes when deemed necessary for greater efficiency.
  • Translate business needs into integrated Human Resource solutions and provide strategic advice to leadership at various levels in the organization;
  • Develop and conduct internal training sessions that promote employee/ management development, including performance reviews, talent reviews, safety and wellness.
  • Works closely within the Business Units to identify attrition risks and key positions within the organization by developing solutions and deploying action plans to address related issues and minimize skill loss within the organization.
  • Lead the HR Merger & Acquisition (M&A) process and provide HR consulting of best practices on due diligence, while developing an effective implementation strategy to be most efficient with the cultural migration process.
  • In partnership with the business, initiates and leads organization development initiatives and interventions compatible with corporate values and leadership behaviours. Champions employee engagement alongside business performance.
  • Perform special projects or other duties as requested.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment preferably within the Technology sector
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, processes and Employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, capable of building influential relationships with stakeholders and guiding them through complex challenges
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, adept at managing change, driving employee engagement and making decisions
  • Solutions orientated with the ability to work autonomously and across multiple businesses embedding our core values
  • Resilience and the ability to prioritise and effectively deliver HR change projects/improvements in a demanding environment, whilst still delivering the day job
  • Experience in M&A activity and Organisational change (distinct advantage)

Travel
Please note, there is the requirement to travel to other locations, as and when required.
