Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working closely with a variety of clients in the private sector (business owners, CEO’s and line managers) you will provide IR/HR advice and support on employment legislation, industrial relations, and HR best practices. Guiding them through complex matters from start to finish, with ownership of your portfolio of clients, you will ensure they receive tailored solutions and the best possible outcomes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise and support a portfolio of SME clients across multiple industries
- Coach business owners, CEO’s and line managers around their employer legal obligations and HR best practice.
- Provide day-to-day HR/IR Partner support, offering tailored advice on employment laws, including FWA, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements
- Manage workplace issues such as grievances, terminations, and redundancies
- Attend formal meetings & manage all documentation and correspondence
- Deliver HR projects within the scope of their agreed services and budget.
- Develop, update, and manage employment contracts, HR policies, and position descriptions
- Project manage implementations and optimisation of HRIS (Employment Hero), organisational restructures/change management, remuneration reviews and compliance audits.
- Assist in employer responses to workplace claims, such as unfair dismissals, and represent clients during conciliations
- Support clients through the management of performance & probationary reviews and contract expirations
- Facilitate and advise on salary and wage reviews in line with remuneration policies and minimum Award rates of pay and entitlements
