About the Role:
As the onsite HR Lead/ HR Business Partner for a UK manufacturing site, you’ll be at the heart of day-to-day HR activities, ensuring smooth operations and supporting managers in creating a positive and productive workplace. You’ll work directly with teams on-site to lead recruitment, manage employee relations, and implement HR strategies tailored to the fast-paced demands of a manufacturing setting.
But it doesn’t stop there. You’ll also have the chance to contribute to global HR initiatives, including compensation, and reward programs, giving you exposure to international projects. This role offers the perfect blend of local HR management with a forward-thinking, global perspective.
What You’ll Be Doing:
HR Business Partner / HR Manager for UK manufacturing sites, providing expert HR support on employee relations, recruitment, and organisational development.
- Collaborate with manufacturing management teams to align HR practices with business goals.
- Lead the recruitment process for manufacturing and support roles.
- Support global HR initiatives, working closely with senior HR leadership.
- Drive Learning & Development programs to enhance team performance and employee growth.
- Lead the annual pay review process to ensure competitive compensation.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management and career development.
What We’re Looking For:
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 in Human Resources or the equivalent level of experience.
- Proven experience in HR roles ideally within manufacturing, with hands-on knowledge of the unique challenges of a production environment.
- Strong background in reward management and compensation, with a keen eye for detail when it comes to payroll and data.
- A natural communicator, with the ability to build strong relationships with both onsite teams and global HR leaders.
- Desire to grow your career by engaging in international HR projects.
