Therapeutic Alliance LLC is a private behavioral health agency offering professional services throughout Virginia for the past 15 years. We strive to provide culturally sensitive counseling services to children, adults and their families in several languages. The Therapeutic Alliance staff possess educational and clinical training that allows us to address mental health, substance abuse and behavioral issues using evidence-based methods. Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HRBP / HR Manager to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our organizational growth and ensuring that our human resources strategies align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a high-potential, self-learner with a proven track record of managing teams and serving as a strategic partner to business leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
- Manage and lead the HR team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Oversee employee relations, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
- Manage employee compensation including payroll, benefits administration
- Direct sourcing and contracting process for independent contractors and consultants
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Drive the implementation of HR policies and programs that foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and support recruitment efforts.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on HR-related issues, including performance management and employee development.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to inform decision-making and improve HR processes. Create and support HR Service Delivery model built around measurables and KPIss.
- Lead and manage HR staff members and projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Streamlining workflows and SOP’s and including effective utilization of technology for HR practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a managerial HR role, with experience managing teams and serving as an HR Business Partner. HR Certification with >5 years experience can substitute for Bachelor’s degree
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Previous, successful experience managing a small, high performing HR team.
- Good applied knowledge of compensation, payroll, benefits programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Proficient in using HR software and systems and implementing this technology to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Experience building an effective and high performing culture organization.
- Willingness to learn and grow with a demonstrated ability to work independently on assigned areas of responsibility.
