Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your primary focus will be supporting the Director of People & Organisational Development with the provision of consistent and reliable generalist HR support in relation to relevant policies and practices across the College. This will include the practical application of employment law, case management, recruitment expertise and developing our leadership team
You will have the opportunity to engage with leaders across the College and build trusting relationships to nurture ownership and accountability within their teams. You will use your experience, skills and knowledge of the HR industry to maximise impact and add value in key areas such as change management, employee engagement, recruitment and employee relations.
Salary (fixed point): £34,664.67
Hours/Weeks: 37 hours / 52 weeks per year
Contract type: Permanent

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Supporting the Director of People & Organisational Development with the provision of consistent and reliable generalist HR support in relation to relevant policies and practices across the College including the practical application of employment law with staff issues.
  • Engage respective Business areas with the strategic HR agenda so stakeholders understand the associated activity and are clear on their own and their team’s accountabilities for delivering and embedding it.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders across the College and providing day to day leadership to drive the delivery of the People Plan.
  • Assisting in building strong talent pipelines and workforce planning.
  • Using experience, skills and knowledge of the HR industry to maximise impact and add value in key areas such as change, management, employee engagement, recruitment and employee relations.
