Summary: Huda Beauty is looking for a strategic, collaborative, and proactive HR Business Partner for our Dubai office. This role will support strategic HR initiatives and work very closely with global leadership across the organization. You will oversee various HR initiatives related to employee relations, talent management, compliance, HRIS administration, recruitment, and office administration. This is an integral role that will heavily depend on healthy collaboration with a team of diverse and talented individuals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of previous HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role in a fast-paced, agile scale-up organization with global offices.
  • Experience with various HR tools/software for employee engagement, performance appraisals, etc.
  • Working knowledge of UAE employment laws and payroll practices.
  • Basic knowledge of employment law and practices in California and UK preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in executing payroll with Microsoft Dynamics or a similar ERP system.
  • Strong ability to interact comfortably with employees at every level of the organization; experience working with senior leadership highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to act with the highest level of discretion at all times.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight timelines, and multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment, with a high level of comfort working autonomously.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills, including proactive communication about progress toward goals and expected results.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee relations issues, providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and UAE labor laws. Resolve conflicts and facilitate communication between employees and management.
  • Oversee talent management processes, including onboarding, performance management, and succession planning. Ensure the attraction, development, and retention of top talent in the UAE.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies. Manage relationships with local regulatory bodies and stay updated on labor legislation changes.
  • Manage HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports. Ensure data integrity and leverage HR technology to enhance HR processes.
  • Support the development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to ensure the company’s offerings remain competitive.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on company people policies to leadership, empowering heads of departments to proactively manage HR issues.
  • Provide expertise in career planning, performance management, total rewards, employee relations, learning and development, risk management, and legal compliance.
  • Assist other P&C team members in creating a cohesive P&C model, supporting Workplace Experience, Talent, Learning & Development, and IT where needed.
  • In collaboration with IT, own global employee on-boarding and exit processes, ensuring consistent practices are reflected in all regional offices to provide a seamless employee experience across the organization.
  • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans. Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to drive high performance.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to anticipate and plan for future workforce needs. Develop strategies to address talent gaps and ensure the organization is equipped to meet its objectives.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by providing guidance on change management strategies and ensuring smooth transitions for employees.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture. Conduct surveys, analyze feedback, and implement action plans to improve employee satisfaction.
  • Create in-depth and high-level reports using both quantitative and qualitative people data to illustrate various trends.
  • Work with the P&C team to identify trends in both qualitative and quantitative data from various surveys to help improve organizational health, enabling smart and informed decisions to be made.
  • Work closely with the finance team to understand people costs and HR budget where necessary, ensuring optimal ways of working and information is shared in the most efficient way.
