Power & Controls (P&C) Aftermarket Operations is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (individual contributor) to join our team! You will be responsible for the execution of HR processes and activities to support IATA I (International Air Transport Association - United States). The HRBP will collaborate with the business as an advisor on topics including organizational effectiveness, change and talent management, organizational learning and development and performance management. This role works in a matrixed organization and partners with HR Leaders, Business Partners and COEs.
As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) in P&C, you’ll develop your leadership skills in a few ways. Here’s how:
Analytical: Ability seek and make data based decisions and recommendations.
Project management: Strong project management skills like organization and time management will assist the HR business partner in effectively leading assigned project toward completion.
Problem-solving & Independent starter: HRBPs often must solve problems. In this role, you will have to be able to identify the problem and then come up with a solution to overcome it. As an HRBP, you will have to be able to initiate and complete tasks without prompting
Influential Leadership: As an HRBP, you need to meet the overall objectives of the company by influencing, working through, and motivating others to complete the tasks.
Collaboration: As an HRBP, you will have to work with and across various functions to reach your objectives. You will have to be able to collaborate with a diverse group of thought partners and various parts of the HR organization to complete tasks.
Change management & communications: As an HRBP, having the ability to coach leaders facilitate discussions around change and transformation is key.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Conduct major HR tasks involving: Macro planning, Talent Review, Performance Impact, Salary Planning, AIP, and Employee Survey
  • Interprets and advises on human resources policies and procedures to ensure that employment laws, standards, or regulations are followed and applied accordingly
  • Coaching and developing senior leaders
  • Conduct PM Compensation analysis yearly
  • Handle problems that are difficult and often complex
  • Lead and support special projects as assigned
  • Travel 25%; domestic to supported sites
