Job Summary
The Associate HR Business Partner plays a critical role in partnering with managers, providing employee support and delivering high-quality HR programs and processes on site whilst ensuring consistent alignment of HR policies of the organization.
Responsibilities/DescriptionBusiness Partnering• Acts as a trusted advisor, coach, and consultant for frontline managers and mid-level business leaders within the site.• Builds business intimacy and credibility to be consulted and actively contribute to overall business and people priorities in the site.• Coaches and advises business leaders and managers surrounding employee relations.• Partners with all business leaders at site for positive culture change opportunities.• Provide managers with support on compensation analysis, internal equity and promotions.• Conducts investigations when necessary, gathering relevant information and interviewing involved parties. Analyzes findings, providing recommendations for resolution and prevention of future conflicts.• Holding local ITRs at site level, succession planning, organizational designHR Initiatives• Ensures the effective implementation of HR and business initiatives.• Participates in HR-related projects.• Collaborates with COE’s in supporting the delivery of HR processes, initiatives, and programs within the site, such as culture campaigns, employee engagement activities, learning initiatives (e.g., Global Learning Week, Learning Bites), etc., on site.• Partners with HR colleagues to share best practices and learning to ensure consistency and alignment.• Assists leaders and employees through change management processes and streamlining processes to create organizational excellence across all sites.Talent Development & Retention• Provides employee relations guidance to managers.• Coaches frontline managers and mid-level leaders on performance management processes and tools.• Provides coaching and advice to frontline managers and mid-level leaders on employee engagement, learning and development, talent management and retention.• Partners with Talent Acquisition teams to effectively manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process in compliance with IFF global guidelines enabling to source, attract and select the best candidates in a cost-efficient and timely manner.• Facilitates global mobility cases and cross-country transfers.Employee Relations• Manages employee, union and works counsel relations in-line with IFF business goals and specific country policy and laws for site/s.• Works closely with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to address complex or high-level conflicts. Offers guidance and consultation to managers and leaders on conflict management strategies and best practices.
Requirements• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HR generalist roles• Experience with SAP and HRIS systems; Workday a plus• Proficient in Microsoft Office• Understanding of HR concepts and processes such as Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning and Development• Knowledge of local labor laws within the assigned geography• Good problem-solving skills• Excellent communication skills• Collaborative and skilled in building positive relationships• Planning and organization skills• Adaptable to changeTraining / Certifications • Understanding the human resources policies, procedures and benefits can be anadvantage.
