The first is LSC which launched in 2006 and are a team of primary school subject specialists delivering PPA cover, with expertise in MFL, Drama, PE, Art, Music and wrap around care in over 250 primary schools across the UK. Our trusted team of practitioners is made up of over 300 teachers, coaches, mentors, subject leads and other passionate educators providing high quality childcare to help children achieve their potential.
The second business is Nurtured Childcare a group of expanding high quality nurseries, filled with skilled practitioners providing children and their families with childcare and experiences to help pre-school children grow in confidence and develop new skills.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE…
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HR Partner to join our People team; this role will be integral in shaping and maintaining our company culture, managing employee relations, and ensuring that our policies and procedures support our business goals. You will report directly to the HR Director and play a key role in shaping the future of our workforce as our company continues to grow.
Based at our brand new (and beautiful) office in South Manchester. This role will also require some flexibility to travel to visit and support our management team on site at the nurseries and schools where we operate in the North of England, Midlands and on occasion London (travel costs will be reimbursed).
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING …
- Providing crucial HR support and guidance by partnering with the management team at our schools and nurseries to drive effective performance and embed consistent people practices.
- Update, implement and embed HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives that increase motivation and drive our caring company culture.
- Support managers to address any attendance concerns, working to support employees to stay in, or come back, to work as well as tackle any capability issues.
- Develop managers competence in conducting regular appraisals and feedback sessions to support employee development and growth.
- Provide support and guidance to managers on performance-related issues.
- Collaborate with the talent manager to design and implement effective talent management strategies.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including supporting managers to conduct investigations and provide recommendations.
- Line manage and support the HR Assistant who will act as a point of contact for employees initial HR-related queries and manage and maintain data in the HR system.
- Prepare and analyse HR reports and metrics to inform decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Work with the HR Director to implement HR strategy, best practices, and legislative changes, advising the company on necessary adjustments.
