Description:

Mercan Properties, a company part of the Mercan Group of companies. Currently, Mercan Properties is managing several hospitality projects across all country and expects to significantly increase its portfolio in the next 24 months. To date, the company has been involved in 30 projects, which has allowed Mercan Properties to position itself as one of the most relevant companies in the Hospitality Property Development industry in Portugal.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or relevant work experience in the area;
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position;
  • Previous experience in hospitality area preferably in a shared services environment;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel;
  • Experience on ERP Primavera and Innux will be a plus;
  • Rigor, attention to detail, responsibility and autonomy;
  • Organization and method;
  • Team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementing corporate HR policies and strategies aligned with business objectives;
  • Serve as a consultant to managers and leaders, providing support and guidance on HR issues such as conflict management, restructuring, and employment law;
  • Oversee and support the recruitment and selection process for hotel units, ensuring the attraction and retention of talent;
  • Ensure the correct collection of data to support hiring and payroll;
  • Guarantee that employment contracts are issued and signed;
  • Administrative management of admissions, contract renewals and exits processes;
  • Control and train users of the biometric system whenever necessary;
  • Control and scheduling of medical examinations;
  • Issue monthly reports;
