Description:

We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our regional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on an engaging and varied role, working with committed people at amazing places across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
This role enables you to work closely with senior leaders influencing and supporting our focus on inclusion, wellbeing, development, managing change and engagement.

The location for this role can be flexible across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, based at one of the regional properties or offices. It’s hybrid with approximately 2 days working across the region and properties you support and 2-3 days working from home.
You’ll support our places from the White Cliffs and Chartwell to Sissinghurst, the South Downs to the Surrey Hills and Polesden Lacey with lots more in between and therefore travel will be required. Our locations rich in nature, beauty and history are pretty special to visit for meetings and work from.
This is a full time, 37.5 hrs a week opportunity and flexibility will be considered.
What you’ll be doing:Partnering with a number of Assistant Directors and General Managers, you’ll work closely with them to think strategically about their teams and operational performance.
Reporting to the Regional Lead People Business Partner as part of our small regional team, you’ll support the implementation of people programmes and initiatives in the region. You’ll work collaboratively with the central People team of subject experts including our regional development specialist, resourcing specialist and our people specialists who support managers with cases and day to day guidance.
Areas of focus for the role include informing our regional and national plans to support our new strategy, inclusion and diversity, wellbeing and engagement, succession development and building leadership capability in a period of change.
Building strong relationships, trust and understanding, you’ll be an experienced and credible coach and advisor, bringing expertise, perspective and pragmatism. You’ll use your experience of working in a large and complex organisation to ensure plans are sustainable and deliver organisational benefits and results. Above all, we want you to play a part in developing a culture in which leaders are empowered, with the confidence and skills they need to lead their people well.

Who we’re looking forWe’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Proven experience of broad HR Business Partnering with senior leaders on a range of issues.
  • Significant generalist Human Resources and Organisational Development experience.
  • A confident, credible and highly collaborative approach with creative problem solving and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of coaching managers and leaders.
  • Experience supporting organisations enabling greater inclusion, diversity and wellbeing.
  • Experience in developing and delivering projects, with the emphasis on delivering great results.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • Strength in enabling and engaging people and an inclusive and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work at both strategic and operational levels with experience working in complex, matrix environments.
