The People Team at New Forest Care are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join them as HR Business Partner. You will be part of a friendly team and will offer business partnership across all the three main areas of our business – Care, Education and Shared Services.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role has a focus on diagnosing people priorities, developing people plans, and helping to implement company-wide people approaches. You will need to have a high level of business acumen, along with a good understanding of all the areas in the people profession. You will work closely with, teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build the organisation and people capability. Additionally, you will play a role in the shaping and implementation of effective people strategies and activities across New Forest Care.
Salary (Banding): £35,000 - £40,000
Hours/Weeks: 37.5 hours
Contract type: Permanent
Based in Hythe, Hampshire

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Supporting the Director of the People Team with the provision of consistent and reliable generalist HR support in relation to relevant policies and practices across the company including the practical application of employment law with staff issues.
  • Engage respective Business areas with the strategic HR agenda so stakeholders understand the associated activity and are clear on their own and their team’s accountabilities for delivering and embedding it.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders across the business and providing day to day leadership to drive the delivery of the People Plan.
  • Assisting in building strong talent pipelines and workforce planning.
  • Using experience, skills and knowledge of the HR industry to maximise impact and add value in key areas such as change, management, employee engagement, recruitment and employee relations.
